Dr. Edward Wasser, MD, DAAPM

Dr. Edward Wasser comes to Emergency Rescue EMS with 25 plus years of experience. As a paramedic and emergency medicine physician, he has had a direct hand in shaping the emergency care systems nationally and internationally. Aside from Emergency Rescue, Dr. Wasser oversees medical direction for the Ontario Lotteries & Gaming Corporation and Canada's Wonderland amusement park.

Dr. Wasser's responsibilities at Emergency Rescue EMS are to provide medical directives to the paramedic team. He trains the ER EMS paramedics in AED use, SAED use and Symptom Relief (use of primary care and advanced care drugs for the emergency medical scene). These skills are then applied by the paramedics at various sporting, charity, community, concerts and private events.

Furthermore, should a medical emergency occur, Dr. Wasser reviews and provides feedback on the entire event from start to finish. He will debrief the paramedics, provide AED/SAED overview, and communicate with the paramedics, emergency physicians, intensive care unit, patient, and client.
