Are your courses recognized?

Yes, Emergency Rescue Academy only teaches through valid national and international organizations including the Canadian Red Cross. All our courses also comply with WS&IB, Occupational Health & Safety and Canada Labour Code regulations.

I currently have my certification, can I recertify?

You may recertify your current certification if your current certification is still valid on the day of your course, and it is from the same training agency (i.e. Red Cross, St. John Ambulance etc.). Furthermore, you may not recertify if your last course was a recertification.

I already have CPR, can I take first aid alone?

All first aid courses come with a CPR component therefore you cannot take first aid alone. CPR courses though can be taken as a stand alone without first aid.
